You can have the greatest coding genius, like at autodesk to code maya, but if he doesn't create content on a professional level, he will not have the faintest idea what he needs to code in maya for the maya user. I dont think that in Linden Lab offices, there is a guy who is a eg Maya professional, who is telling the Sansar devs, hey code me to do this, or to link this light to this, or to select a surface and turn it into a mesh light, or to create splines for paths to build procedural paths for terrain live mesh objects, sounds particles etcetc.if that was the case we would have already at least seen camera settings and point of interest with zoom.(wondering if spacenav is supported and how many of the preview guys here know remotely what it is) While i strongly believe that Linden Lab software engineers and graphics engineers being located in silicon valley will do a fantastic job with the platform from a consumer point of view, I suspect, that the Development team might possibly not have a content creator proprietary team/task force with expertise in entertainment suites like eg Autodesk Maya entertainment suite, and other suites used for. It is then paramount for the Sansar edit suite to offer perspective orthographic, top, left, right, front rear bottom views, for such command to have any meaning. The command is simple, You first select the control point and then any further control point, and click a copy button, any control selected after the first one, will move to the selected coordinates of either x y z, or two of them or all 3 together, this method is also useful to align multiple points to a precise coordinate on one axis with at least 0.0000 precision.the same principle can be applied to one object or multiple ones. There are some nurb suites that have similar commands to copy eg a control point x y z coordinates in space.
